Last week, I travelled to France and Germany together with my wife and friends of ours. We spent most of the time in and around the region of Alsace. While walking through many beautiful villages there or the city of Strasbourg, I learned to love a well balanced camera set-up: A Fuji X-T1 and the Fujinon 35mm 1.4. This provides a “normal”-perspective (equivalent to a 50mm on a full frame camera body), which I previously did not embrace at such occasions. But on this trip it has been simply great set-up for walking around and capturing the wonderful cities and villages, a street shot here and there and some pictures of my wife and our friends. The really good mix of portability, image quality and field of view allowed me to shoot an eclectic collection of photos that will serve as great memory supporters.
