After I did many regular portrait sessions — mostly business and CV portraits — I lusted for a photo shoot that was different. I aimed for an editorial and fashion style. Hanna, a friend of mine was a great model, and my wife excelled as always in the make-up department. On the technical side of things I prepared a lot, only to decide during the shoot to keep things simple: Most shots were taken with my Fujifilm X-T2, the XF 56mm 1.2, an Elinchrom Strobe with a 100cm Rotalux Deep-Octa Softbox,  mostly with white or grey paper backgrounds.

I edited the photos in Lightroom, but there was no need for any Photoshop work here, i.e. all of those are non-retouched. A good model, with great make-up and a simple light setup can go a really long way. I am happy with the results and feel refreshed regarding my portrait work.
